Course content

The majority of the course is course work based. Everything you do counts towards your eventual grade. There is no unseen exam at the end.

At each level and for all units you will produce a journal, a presentation book and photographic outcomes.

Year 12 (AS)

Unit 1: Begins with a trip to Tate Modern and is based around a theme such as ‘Structures’.
Unit 2: Is your exam unit. During this unit there is a trip to Florence. You have two months to prepare and the exam is completed over two days.

Year 13 (A2)

Unit 3: Begins with a trip to St Ives and involves a dissertation on your own chosen area. You choose the theme for this unit.
Unit 4: Is your exam unit.
