Further Mathematics AS level would be an option to those who are especially interested in studying any maths related course at University.

Course content

Extra topics are studied as preparation for University level mathematics.  These extend material already met, introduce new topics and develop mathematical thinking skills.

Assessment

The work is the same as the standard A level, but Further Mathematics requires considerably more independent learning and is only for the strongly motivated.
