Course content
We offer both the Single and Double Award courses of the Edexcel Applied GCE in ICT at AS and A2 level. All students opting to study ICT will complete the Single Award course. They can also choose to study Double Award ICT in addition to the Single Award Course, which would result in the award of two A levels instead of one. The Double Award course is a technical course which is more hardware based compared to the Single Award course. Students will gain ‘hands on’ experience, for example they will build their own computer, manage a live website online etc. A full break down of all the topics studied in Single and Double Award ICT are given below.
