Costs

We will provide access to all of the software and hardware necessary when studying ICT. It would be useful if you could access a computer at home, however this is not essential.

We would recommend that you purchase the course text book which can be obtained for £15 - £20 (“Edexcel GCE in Applied ICT” by Trevor Heathcote & Steve Farrell). An AS and A2 version of the textbook is available, covering all units of the Single Award course and selected units of the Double Award course. They also include practice exam papers (with solutions) and an electronic CD of resources. Both textbooks have been co written by Steve Farrell, a lead teacher on our Sixth Form ICT course.
