Unit 1: Reading, Listening and Writing paper in June (70% of AS)
Unit 2: Speaking assessment in June (30% of AS)

Both the AS and A level examinations test the following skills:

Reading - to understand and extract information from authentic sources such as magazines and newspaper articles.

Listening - to understand and extract information from sources such as news reports, interviews and discussions.

Speaking-to discuss your views on the prepared topic areas in German.
Writing - to write essays on issues studied during the course
