Course content

You will be involved in various performances, working on whole play and section of play for performance to an examiner. You will also be involved in working as a group on an original piece of drama of your choice.

Unit 1 Exploration of Drama through two contrasting plays 40%

Practical and research notes marks

Unit 2 Text in Performance

Acting or design skills assessed in a production directed by the teacher and a monologue or duologue.

Externally assessed and worth 60%.

You will also experience a wide variety of live performances and will be required to answer questions on performances you have seen and taken part in.
