Introduction

This Diploma looks at work in four employment sectors:

• Children and Youth Workforce (e.g. teachers, youth workers, play workers, nursery nurses)
• Health industry (e.g. health workers, physiotherapists, occupational therapists)
• Community Justice sector (e.g. community support officers, community police officers, probation officers, probation officers, youth offending teams)
• Social Care sector (e.g. social workers, care workers)

The course will give you an understanding of all sectors, how they work together and the key values they all work by. You will develop problem solving, team working, communication and creative thinking skills, key to working in these sectors.
